The Malt Shovel, Dudley

I first used this pub back in the 70's and 80's-and eventually we moved on
I returned to the Shovel about six weeks ago-and how much we have both changed!!
Excellent range of beers-none of which have been watered down!!-I'd hate to drink more than 3 on a week night!!
and even better-food!! I've had a couple of lunches there-and last week on evening meal-horseshoe of gammon-real hot chips-great value !!
The only drawback is that some nights the pub is very quiet-we could do with more customers to boost the atmosphere!!
