The Cornish Arms, St Merryn

The pub has an idyllic setting and seems very poplar with the locals. We did eat there and the service was excellent. My main course (cheese ploughmans) was fine but the Lemon Posset dessert was very disappointing as it had a blackcurrant topping which smothered the lemon taste beneath, and it mixed all together, so in the end I had a blackcurrant dessert rather than lemon. I suggest if you want to eat here get there early as it get's very busy and the waiting time for food increases.
