The Bear, Crickhowell

We popped in the Bear while passing on the local canal.
Found a warm welcome and great atmosphere.
The menu was varied and the food tasted great.
I can only recommend.

The Rising Sun, Milland

The Rising Sun was such a good find for us. We stopped for lunch while touring the area and ended up staying for dinner too.
The food and menu was superb - all freshly homemade to order with excellent service. The pub itself has recently been aquired by brothers Ben and Sam Burston who judging by the locals we talked to, have brought many improvements and an air of excitement.
The pub has good sized secure gardens with plenty of tables and is suitable for families with younger children. We would definitely recommend a visit to this pub with an empty stomach for some good atmosphere and quality dining.
