The Gipsy Moth, Greenwich

I was very disappointed with the food. I always bring all my visitors who came to London to this pub. Last time, on Thursday 10.06.10, the food was very disappointing and very expensive. We had the roast chicken and were very surprised that the plate came with a very small chicken breast and half of a wing. I went to the bar to complaint and the staff member laugh at me saying that the size of the meal was ok. It wasn�t ok, I have been here before and I had the chicken: it was half a chicken. It was a rip off. The meal was nearly �9.I should have left on the spot and leave all the food on the table, but I have education and manners, unlike the staff member who laugh at me.
I ask for the manager, a nice young guy. He said that the only thing I could do was to write my comments on this web page. I was not offered a bigger meal or anything. I was very upset that the management prefer a bad comment on the web that to sort the problems on the spot. It made me feel stupid in front of my visitors. I was going on about the nice food to them for days and they were very disappointed at the place and at me.
I will avoid this place like the plague. Will never take any friends and will not recommended to anyone.
I WILL NEVER GO THIS PLACE AGAIN AND IF I WAS YOU, I WOULD NOT GO THERE EITHER.
