The Old White Bear, Crosshills

The Old White Bear in Crosshills is one of the best pubs in Britain. Only go once a week for early doors on Friday for a good chat, drink and a wind down with the mates,(male and female.) Reasons why it is so good; no music which is great for the friday evening wind down straight from work. There is sometimes music but it does not blare out. Superb comfy bar area,(please never change this if you the owner is reading this.We've told him anyway), great beer; used to be brewed on the premises but demand was such that it is brewed in Keighley I think.Friendly staff who are not thick, great food at a reasonable price. The pastry on the steak and ale pie cannot be beaten. A superb warm, comfy, friendly pub; a rarity. It must be good because we go there from Middleton which is 3 miles away eventhough there is a pub much nearer in Cowling.
