The Abinger Hatch, Abinger Common

Seemed a nice pub for a sunny lunch today. The tuna steak with anchovies sounded interesting, but when it arrived I couldn't find any anchovies. When I queried this the guy bringing the plates out went into the kitchen to check. When he came back he just said the chef had run out of anchovies. So they just continued sending out the (fairly small for the price) tuna. No chance of choosing something else; no offer to add something extra; and certainly no change of price.
