The Rye Pub, Dining Room and Garden, Peckham Rye

Well as the old saying goes you only get what you pay for...... I really think everyone below is giving The Rye a hard time. In alot of other pubs you can never get the attention of a staff member, at The Rye you can. As for the baby changing thing...remember your mother cleaned your a-- too. I hardly think the owners and staff would allow that in the middle of the pub anyway. Every time I visit The Rye i have a great size, good quality portion of food in a very clean and well thought out environment. I think alot of care has gone in to the whole concept of The Rye and it comes as a major bonus to the surronding area. I know (because i have asked) that all the food at The Rye has been sourced by a professional chef from quality producers all over the uk. So when you look at the price you may understand that it is not taking the piss but rather a reflexion of the quality. This goes for the wine as well.I know where i want to eat!!! oh and as for the White Horse, how can you compare apples and oranges? there is no comparison, lets not forget who set the precident and had The balls to change in peckham!!! See you at the Rye...and dont forget The Gowlett as well...another asset to the peckham area.
