The Raemartin Lounge Bar, West Linton
The Raemartin closed many years ago. It is defunct, deceased; it is a dead pub. It's long since been converted into housing - just like the Linton Hotel has been.

The Linton Hotel closed years ago. There's only one pub in West Linton left: the Gordon Arms (which is mighty fine!!!!)

The Gordon Arms, West Linton
An absolutely superb hostelry; winner of the the CAMRA Borders Pub of the Year on numerous occasions. First rate real ales, open fires, wonderful (and large quantities) food and great service.
Would thoroughly recommend this place to all and sundry - worth a long trip out to on the bus from Edinburgh for a long afternoon's drinking in front of an open fire, sampling the various real ales on offer.
