The Swan Inn, Kington

Returned to the Swan this year and what a suprise........Friday night was a great night out with good band plus excellent beer. Now a freehouse, the real ale Ramblers ruin was a real treat.
Lynn and Shaun have worked hard to improve decor and ambience of the hotel and bar.

The Swan Inn, Kington

Just thought we would try an early morning breakfast in the bar and perhaps a few beers later to wash it down.
Bar staff had to search for a few minutes when asked for a menu.
A pot of tea was then served on a tray but with a brown Mug complete with 3 brown hairline cracks on the inside
Service was very slow considering bar almost empty...over 25 mins only to be served not what we ordered with almost undercooked eggs.
No place mats, had to ask for cutlery, then ask for salt and pepper.
Did not ask for a beer after that so sorry no review lol.
