The Crown Inn, Elford

my partner and i visited the crown at christmas after recomendation from friends. we`d been a few years back and were very disapointed-fabulous building but terrible beer and service, but what a change we found! theres a new landlord who was lovely and friendly. the staff were smart and friendly and everyone is only too happy to make the visit enjoyable. we`ve been back 4 times since christmas and it`s fast becomming our favourite pub to drive out to.
the food`s been excellent everytime and so has the beer-timothy taylor was the guest ale on the last visit. lovely cozy rooms with log fires made it difficult to tear ourselves away!
we`re so pleased to find a `proper` pub with really nice staff & customers that we had to recomend them to you!
they`ve even got bantam hens & ducks trotting around!
