The Thomas Lord, West Meon

Having seen the reviews and read a recent article saying how great this place was we booked lunch. Very disappointing visit. It took us over an hour to receive our food, despite booking and although staff were very pleasant, nothing was offered as a sorry; bread, drinks, or money off the bill. I agree with the food being nice, but definately overpriced, as it's pub style food, with restaurant prices and I must be missing something with the decor as it just looked shabby and in need of a refurb! More disappointing is that after letting the owners know of my visit I have not had an apology or even an acknowledgement - says it all really for me!! Won't be going back there or recommending it!
