The Red Lion, Wokingham

Our friends in the US told us about this great english pub, The Red Lion in Wokingham and told us that when we take our vacation over there we must stop for a meal, so we did....and what a great place..Fantastic atmosphere, very very good food and a good selection of beers/spirts and wines. The Chef (William I think his name was) was very attentive as he came and talked to us personally and then cooked us a perfect meal, very fresh....The Bar Manager was a nice young man called Christopher, and very knowledgeable he selected a perfect wine for our meal....And after our meal we sat in the pub and had a few more drinks and sat and talked to the Landlord and Landlady (Stirling & Angie)for quite sometime, and they told us of there plans to open the upstairs into another bar area....great idea..We will be back in 2007 and will go to The Red Lion Again....First Class English Pub one of the best we have see..
