The Bear Inn, Street

This place advertises "real guest ales" but every time I've been (I live nearby) they aren't available and I've had to settle for something else (other pubs nearby have very good beers which from now on I'll stick to). The lure is a cheap midweek menu which a couple of times has been ok but last time the food was stale and made me feel sick. The staff are sometimes friendly, sometimes rude - basically you're risking spending good money on a kick in the teeth and I'd recommend visiting pretty much any other pub in the glastonbury /street area if its food & drink you're after.
