The Red Lion, Snargate

Brilliant, wonderful, traditional, beautiful, welcoming, incedible pub! In fact, there are not enough superlatives for this pub.

A bit like stepping back in time, or in to someones front room... This is a positive thing!... I couldn't recommend this pub enough.

Doris is a lovely woman with some great stories to tell... And they are all worth listening too.

Sooty is a really friendly dog, and one of the oly dogs in the world that i actually like.

I was in this pub on Sunday night with a couple of friends who had never been before, and we were all made extremely welcome throughout the evening.

One of the best pubs in the world without a doubt!

The Harveys Wine Bar, Folkestone

Not a wine bar at all, instead it's a slightly sad looking pub.

It makes a great pre-gig venue as the background music is always good.

The beer isn't all that great, and when my mate was presented with a cloudy, sour tasting beer the barmaid was not very happy about changing it and insisted that he perservered with it... Not great sevice in my mind!

The Chambers, Folkestone

Great basement bar with good beer and good food.

The bar staff are always friendly and the customers always seem to be a good crowd. Young and trendy without being pretentious.

Always come here (almost ritually) before gigs at the Leas Cliff Hall. A great pre-gig venue!
