The Bakers Arms, Danbury

It has been a few years since I used this pub as we moved out of Essex and how things have changed - what used to be a real nice traditional "drinking pub" full of character and many characters is now basically a not very good fish and chip shop! The once popular public bar which had a well used Pool table in it is now a "new improved dining area"?? The most exciting thing about this pub now is the large Pub dog - and even he/she looks thoroughly bored!
What a Shame another good pub bites the dust!
