Made the mistake of meeting a friend here.
How did they get this place looking and feeling so souless? The garish fruit machines, beer-sodden carpet and "vertical drinking" areas combine with a clientele of hobos, sales reps and burberry bruisers to make for a thoroughly depressing pint. Factor in the simply disgusting toilets, the cubicles of which look like someone has set loose a family of rabid turds, and the Shakespeare surely MUST claim the crown of worst pub in London.

On reflection it would have been preferable to share a can of White Lightning with the tramps outside.
