Good mix all round pub - warm welcome - dog friendly - well priced pub food- good range of beer and kept well.

The landlord and landlady here try very hard - always doing different things from a beer festival - music- quiz nights to paper plane competitions!

In these days of pubs that either think they are foody restaurants or with every table laid up for dining or the other end of the spectrum where the you nwould not want to take your wife or girlfriend - this pub falls very nicely in the middle.

The kitchen is small - so it may be worth booking ahead to be sure of a meal.
