The Vic Bars, Newquay

The best pub in Newquay - tucked away just off the main drag - no food and no children (+ points in my book). Excellent local beers, pool table, loud jukebox, trippy Video's, great live bands and the best staff that money can buy - Dave the landlord has to be experienced to be believed - a true 'locals hangout'

The Firefly, Bourne End

Nice place - no children in the bar,2 pool tables, late license,huge garden,garden heaters for the winter months (for when the new nasty anti-smoking law comes into effect), good cold lager, football on a projecter screen for the big matches and plasma screen for the smaller ones and freindly staff (with the exception of Ray - but hey he owns the place)in other words a proper pub.
