Blue Anchor, Crowborough

Awfull customers service and food! Firstly when making our booking for 5 we were told it had to be at 12.15 as they already had a large booking coming in at 12.30, it then turned out we were the only people in the restaurant for the length of our visit. (This tells a story on it's own considering it was Sunday lunch time).
We all had roasts and were so dissapointed, we were given shredded slices of wafer thin fatty beef, buried under a pile of raw veg. The reason it was hidden was probably to disguise the fact their was barely enough to feed my 2 year old, We commented to the manager/owner about the quality & quantity of the meat, but we were greated by a dirty look and asked "what did we expect" and that was it, he made no appology and was just plain rude. Truely poor by anyones standards
