The Lion Hotel, Farningham

The sun was out we decided to go for lunch on Saturday at the Lion Hotel, a pub/restaurant that we have been to off and on for 12 years. The location is perfect for a sunny day. However, the place has totally fallen apart. You are required to queue for food and drink, no separate queue for drinks. Only 2 bar staff working at a snails pace. Ordering took 20 minutes plus, at least 10 people walked out while I was waiting. The food took an hour to be served even a salade. I had a burger which had been totally cremated. Our order was brought to us 3 times because the orders had not been cleared. The only seats available were on the grass by the river. The grass had not been cut and was very uneven, my wife who suffers from MS had real difficulty. I would go as far as to say that it is a health & safety hazard. Won't go back again.
