Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford

Although the pub has not been open for two years yet (as of Jan 2004) the Madding has quickly become my pub of choice in Oxford. High standards for beer, very good staff, interesting artwork displays and gentle music. Also includes thought out touches such as a bookcase for those of us who want to relax by ourselves in the corner. Of the bar, of course.
