The Swan Inn, Monks Eleigh

We have visietd the Swan several times in the last year and have found it consistently excellent. In truth I could just dine on the starters (eg crayfish cocktail, roast red pepper with goats cheese or my particular favourite ... crispy duck salad with hoi sin sauce .. all with home made rolls) but the fish, poultry and meat mains all maintain the same standard. Fresh local ingredients dominate in Nigel's thinking. Front of hpouse, Carol does agreat job in providing friendly and nicely paced service; she has developed a great team of local youngsters to help her. The Swan is well worth a drive to try it out
