The Last Post, Southend on Sea

You have to fight your way through hordes of dirty old chain smokers before you even get through the door. AFTER the refurb, the toilet seats were falling off, there are limited lights in the toilets and some of the doors don't lock. 8 of us ordered food, including 6 veggie meals. When they finally arrived, 2 were cold and 2 had meat products on the plate. The used nappy in the booth next to us was a bit of a shock and when we tried to complain we were told the manager "wasn't available". I went back the next day to see if he was there and the nappy was still under the table. It is full of old men who barely seem to be alive or hordes of chavvy mothers with screaming kids (and I mean SCREAMING!!!!). Our favourite was the 3 year old girl with an "I'm Hot and I Know It" t-shirt who projectile vomited what looked like radioactive soup all over the table opposite ours. On the plus side there are 2 exits so no matter which way you turn from the bar, you can make a hasty escape.
