The North Pole, Greenwich

I would like to take this opportunity to say that I am a regular of this pub and also know the owner and his wife and would like to commend them on the great job they do running this place. This is the "original" gastro pub of greenwich. It has been going strong for over 10 years. they serve excellent food and with the recent addition of the lovely garden this is a great pub and us locals of the area are very lucky to have this pub. even in these gloomy days the pub is still flourishing and with regards to the last review about a stabbing THERE HAS BEEN NOTHING OF THE SORT! they have won the aa pub guides "pick of the area" 6 years consecutively and also been a finalist for best "modern european" restaurant for the archant life restaurant awards. in short i love this place and feel that people should support there local and keep them in business instead of writing stupid reviews about factual innaccuracies. well done north pole the locals of the ashburnham area and onese8 will help to maintain u stand strong and keep up the good work!!

The North Pole, Greenwich

Went here for my recent birthday party dinner and was very impressed. The restaurant is very swish and the food service and ambience superb. After our meal, we headed down to the main bar and we boogied till 2am. The staff were very good, the drinks priced well and the dj played some classic old skool disco tunes. We all agreed that a good time was had by all. Will dfinintely return.
