The Bricklayers Arms, Aylesbury

This traditional pub is a rarity nowadays, with only new bistro pubs or crappy kids bars in town now. If you want a real english pub for real ale, you have to travel to a village out of town - hardly convenient if you live in aylesbury centre. As far as the music and staff are concerned, from my experience the staff have always been friendly and smiley, and the atmosphere is anything but dampened by the music choice. Each to their own I guess, which probably explains why staff attitudes may be different to some than to others. If you want a friendly service, how about being friendly in return? This pub is by far the best in aylesbury in my opinion.
