The Lamb Inn, Sutton

I absolutely assure you that my review (Mr J. Bean) is how I experienced my visit on the occasion that I visited this Pub. Feel free to make your own mind up but rest assured, I will not visit this place again - once bitten twice shy! This is not a 'hatchet job', just a review of my families meal - which was an abortion. Just because a comment isn't favourable does not mean it's inacurate. Incidentally, I rather doubt the authenticity of 'sihamel', sounds like the Landlord to me...

The Lamb Inn, Sutton

My family and I visited this establishment recently. Our intention was to dine. I wish I had read the comments of slj32 prior to our visit. Her comments of 'absolutely awful' are, in my opinion, restrained. My partner ordered burger and chips which she shared with our young son. Our son would normally eat anything and was ravanous by the time it eventually arrived (with dirty cutlery). I had not previously witnessed my son reject food before but they say there is a first time for everything, and this was it. My wife ate part of her meal and out of manners stowed the rest away in her bag to feed our dog upon our return. The food remained in his bowl for 2 days before I eventually placed it on the compost, I fear it will take some time to de-compose. I ordered the lamb chops. Once I had separatedthe fat from the bone I was left with a scrap of meat that would not satisfy a sparrow. When asked by my wife : What did it taste like? I informed her that I had eaten less chewy squid. We reluctantly paid the bill afterwards our barely eaten meals were taken away by a child that reminded me of the Film - Village of the Damned. We then left without leaving a tip. Our tip to the reader is to try an alternative venue to eat or drink. In our case we visited a Hot-Dog stand on our way home for a nutritional boost.
