The Bridge Inn, Calver

The Bridge was an interesting experience. The Landlord was openly hostile to anyone under 40 in the pub, he seemed to go out of his way to make them feel unwelcome. The pub is supposed to be a family pub, but has a huge picture on the wall of an animal with a massive erect penis. Wont be taking my child there then.

The prices behind the bar are rigged - if you order 3 of a drink, stella for example, they have the prices for multiples printed on the pumps, but have added a pound here and there into the total, overcharging for already fairly high-priced drinks.

The Landlord recently put up a sign on the bar door which says F.I.F.O, which a friend who works there informed me, means Fit In or F'#@ Off. Plainly aimed at young people. I am never, ever, ever going into that pub again, the rating of zero out of 10 is well deserved.
