The Captain Kidd, Wapping

Had the misfortune to visit this pub whilst out on a works Christmas meal. There were twelve of us, and some sat at a table in the side section of the pub, while three stood at the bar ferrying drinks back and forward. Apparently the Manager has some rule about keeping the serving area clear (even though there were other people sat at the bar on stools and there was NO notice to say "keep the bar area clear") and refused to serve us because we were blocking the service area. The pub was fairly empty at the time and there was plenty of space at the bar. When one of our group said "I dont know how you expect us to get a drink if we dont come up to the bar" the Manager basically said that he wasnt interested in serving us (casual trade), he just wanted his regulars in. He was very rude and when I asked who I should complaint to, flicked his finger onto the Samual Smith's logo on the beer pump. I have been a bar manager myself in the past, and I would never have spoken to any customer in such an aggressive way. Avoid this place if you want any standard of customer service.
