The Bell, Kitchen and Bar, Waddesdon

We visited recently for lunch, disappointed by the bar man, very unfriendly, giving no information to the food, dressed inappropiately for a country pub, think he was on his way to a festival, the whitebait was good. Service, barman and atmosphere very poor.

Plough and Anchor, Kingswood

My friend held her wedding reception here, summer of 2011, the Plough and Anchor attended her every need in the set up of the tables, guest book to be laid on a certain table, welcoming drinks to be ready by a certain time, etc etc, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! and have visited several times since.......they now open for breakfast which is handy on our travels to Bicester village.
Love the `themed` nights, steak (tuesday) is my favourite whilst hubby likes burger night (thursday), at a discounted rate to the usual menu this is a must!
Oh and we have even taken our dog in the bar with us, after our walkies, a good excuse for a wee dram, made us feel very welcome and the dogs tail spoke volumes too, a very good all round pub, well done.
