The George and Dragon, Goole

this pub has a poster up asking drinkers to rate the place, i think it needs to be taken down.
i went in for food, advertised all over as being fantastic, however i went on a tuesday evening and it wasnt, its pub grub, something with chips basically.
when my pint went flat 3 sips in had a word with the landlord who was walking past who took one look at it and barked it was fine, which i didnt appreciate as it looked more like apple juice then anything fizzy.

so basically i got a pub meal and paid restraunt prices,
a pint that had no fizz, only for the landlord to tell me i was wrong.

i also heard in background talk of the recent noise abatement they recieved, guess its a bit of a pub noisy pub as well. anyway for better ale and atmosphere head to jolly miller and for far far better food head to either sloop or the jug back down A19.

The George and Dragon, West Haddlesey

awful pub, honestly if you have driven here keep driving at least to the jug, visited both in last week as stopping with family and found this pub to be the worst, having seen previous reviews it seems to be slipping down and down,

passable food, but if you want passable food and a coke go to wetherspoons.
no atmosphere, bar staff, well i got a better conversation for the tv, which was an eye saw it didnnt matter where you look you cant miss it.
tried to play pool. but the room is too small and every shot has to be played with a verticle cue. owners or what i think was the landlord and his wife talk to their young family members who sit in the corner and their friends that it

spoke to one couple who said no locals go to this pub, landlord is keane on barring people he doesnt like, which would appear to be most of the villagers
if you want a good drinking pub try wheatsheaf in burn, if you want a good meal head to the jug, 1 mile up the road, honest you will be glad you did
