The Golden Galleon, Exceat

This establishment clearly gets its business from passing customers due to its beautiful location by the river. Regretfully that is its best feature. The food leaves much to be desired. On two occasions now I have been served grizzle for Roast Beef on a Sunday. Yes twice, but not any more. I'll not eat there again.

Good points: Sunny day location, Car Park and Bus Stop nearby. An immediate refund was given for the poor quality roast beef meal.

Bad points: Told by waiting staff that the Manager was too busy to listen to complaints about the food served to customers. Staff gave bland corporate response to any complaint. "There is nothing I can do about it". Yes there is, tell the manager or the head office about the complaint.

Such an appalling level of customer service will result in adverse comments appearing here. However, I will still write to their head office, as I am convinced they are probably unaware of these problems being reported upwards by their own staff.
