The Pilchard Inn, Burgh Island

This pub did have a change of wonership a few years ago (1999?) and was not as good asi t used to be but it is now back on track as a homeLy and unique pub -well worth the experience.

The Lobster Pot, Hope Cove

This pub has now closed and is a now a holiday let and has been closed for several years
It was a great pub in its time

Hope and Anchor Inn, Hope Cove

This pub is not far away from me and have visited on anumber of occasions and have even stayed there once,
Its biggest problem is the inconsistency with the food and the sometimes the service.
Sometimes it can produce a good standard of pub food but othertimes really quite terrible -a jacket potato should not be too challenging for any chef but here it can be.
The beer has laways been okay. Landlord could be more cheerful.
This pub really could do better given the location, etc.
