It's a shame this place burned down. It definitely had a nice claim to fame ("first/last pub in Scotland") and while it was just across the Scottish border, it felt absolutely worlds away. A very local feel and a very Scottish staff (and patrons) that barely acknowledged the fact that you could see England on the horizon.

The Lost Dene, Deansgate
Really good food. Possibly the best pub nachos I've had anywhere in the world! Though the seating could use some work. It's hard to see the televisions.
