The Old Goat, Fulwell

I have not actually been there. But I would not recommend going somewhere that gets things so wrong. I suggested it to a friend from Peterborough as somewhere to stay on the night of the Stones' concert at Twickers. Despite e-mail confirmation of their booking,there was no record of it when they turned up so there was no alternative for them but to go home after the concert. I made a booking for a table that I had to cancel and re-arrange so I sent a message over the website. When I rang to see if they had got my message, they denied all knowledge. But I then made the other arrangements over the phone. Then our friend was unwell and could not make the second date. Guess what the answer was when my husband rang to cancel it? Yep. No record. Do you recommend such inefficency?
