I live in Marske, and used to live in Middlesbrough. I have been in most of the pubs in Middlesbrough over the years.
I found this site while looking for the name of the pub that used to be the Empire. It is now 'The House'. I watched my son's band 'Insider' play live there in an upstairs room.I was most impressed.
I don't go out as much now , but I still like to go to the pub for a pint or two now and again.
I have a yacht, and my dream is to sail up the coast dropping into the harbours and estuaries, for delightful evenings checking out the local pubs.Next year maybe.

The Marine, Saltburn by the Sea
Lovely pub on the cliff top overlooking the sea at saltburn.
Very popular especially in the summer.
Has sky sports and large TV. Pool tables etc, also a quiet lounge, if you like peace and quiet.

Good pub. Used to be my local , many years ago. Run by the Affords. Where are they now?
