The Little Windsor, Sutton

Super little 'locals' pub. Off the map for the high street sort of client, very friendly & well run by Alan & Jackie the pub boasts a host of characters from an ex-army para ("during the war....etc etc"), through to the amazingly well read quiz master. Meet accountants who have numbers instead of names (two eyes), a Scottish refugee, a man shaped tree monkey with an opinion on everything and a barmaid who knows swearwords even old Nick blushes at. Well worth at least one visit...you are bound to make a second.
