The New Moon, Bank

This evening whilst waiting to be served, I witnessed someboday order a pint of Speckled Hen. The bar maid walked to the pump, picked up the drip tray, emptied it into thr glass (approx 1/2 pint) before topping it up from the pump. I queried this with one of her colleagues who said it was normal practice with bitters but not other beers.
I later spoke to the bar manager who said that he did not condone such practice.
I leave it to you to decide whether you wish to drink at this establishment - I certainly will not!!!!
