Fairfield Arms, Audenshaw

Went Tuesday evening 12 May 2009 with two friends.
2 ordered Simon the Chefs speciality steak and ale pies with chips and peas. 1 ordered sirloin steak with diane sauce.
The food when eventually it arrived was awful. The crust on the pies you could have used to tarmac a road with it was so hard and the steak and diane sauce was cold.
A very disappointing experience food wise and one not to be repeated by a return visit.
Needless to say none of us placed any money in the tips box which was stratigically placed by the till. The only tip we would suggest was get a decent chef.
