The Abinger Hatch, Abinger Common

Our previous visit was approximately 12 months ago (Summer 2010), when the pub still had a cavernous, cold feel to it. What a difference a change of ownership makes! This visit was pimarily to sit in the garden and enjoy the sunshine, but we stayed for dinner, such was the welcome. The haddock fillets were excellent; my wife enjoyed her Tongham Tea and, as a cider man myself, I can heartily recommend the Hogan's (particularly the bottled perry, as recommended by mine host). A return visit asap is planned.
