Silent Woman, Coldharbour

Spent a week on a local caravan site with my wife in late May 2010. I had read the reviews about this pub prior to going there. We had an afternoon drink one day and found the place to be really lovely and the licencee very friendly so booked a table for 4 adults for my wifes birthday on 1st June. Everything was great, food, drink, staff, service, value for money and the venue. The licencee is within his rights to have his own rules re children etc. Dont forget HE doesnt know you or your kids and British behaviour on average falls well short of that on the continent. Find elsewhere if you cannot meet his criteria or sit in the garden. Kids werent allowed in pubs anyway a few years ago
