The Ranelagh, Bounds Green

Got to be honest - been here once in Summer for a drink, so it was with trepidation that I met a couple of good friends for some grub, drink and chat. No idea what the past reviewers were doing, but the two bar staff were extremely attentive, making sure they knew who was next in line (unlike many other pubs), and making sure you were happy with any 'strange' drink, allowing tasting. Foodwise, we had the burger, venison burger and sausage dishes - all were excellent and arrived in good time. Guiness and any coffee was brought to the table to avoid hanging around the bar, and all in fair time. One of our party owns a restaurant and was very happy with all, and would come again - isn't that what you want to hear?
