I love everything about this bar, great tunes, great choice of beer, good clientele (a rariety in Newcastle). The atmosphere and decor are top notch. Go for the sofas near the front or the little hideaway room right round the back.

The Trent House, Newcastle
Little brother to Newcastle's finest nightspot, World Headquarters. Boasts the best jukebox in the world, which is free. Carries a 'be nice to everyone' message. Drinks are a bit on the basic side though.
