Pelican In Her Piety, Ogmore By Sea

Not sure about some of the more recent comments concerning this pub. Been many times over the years and never had a bad pint or a bad meal.

Prices may appear to be on the high side for "pub fare" particularly when compared to some of the bargain basement "meal deals" being offered elsewhere, but this is justified by the food quality and portion sizes. Meals can be taken in the bar area or the quieter and more formal restaurant, both of which have been recently refurbished.

Another important factor is that staff are always friendly and efficient, even when very busy.

Excellent location opposite Ogmore Castle and the Stepping Stones to Merthyr Mawr, with one of the region's poshest smoking shelters. As an added bonus, the Pelican is easily accessed thanks to the bus route between Bridgend and Llantwit Major.
