The Mother Red Cap, Archway

This pub is great! It gets soo busy and on Paddy's day it was heaving! Home made stew was dished out (free might I add) to anyone who wanted it. Great atmosphere, great beer, great staff!

The Ship, Tottenham

Well my parents now run The Ship and have done since January this year. Eddie the previous manager was looking after it for mum and dad but he left just before christmas. Since mum and dad moved in, it has come on in leaps and bounds. It's going to be a slow process but they are improving the pub day by day. They have started bringing in some great bands on a Friday and Saturday night which has gone down really well. They have great plans to clean it up by improving the beer garden and the decor inside the bar. They have renewed some pumps behind the bar and are going to be replacing a lot more things old for new soon. My parents are very friendly people who have raised a large family and some family members work in their other pub in Archway. They have a lovely rapport with the current locals and it seems to have encouraged more ex punters to come back in again. They know the pub well as they used to manage it when I was just 6 years old and I am now 34!!! Watch this space! I would encourage anyone who used to be a customer to try again, as I am sure you will be peasantly suprised!
