Cat and Fiddle Inn, Macclesfield

I wouldn't bother visiting this pub. Miserable bar staff, who obviously would rather not be there, and surly catering staff.

Food was a disgrace. Salad was old and slimey - although the chef seemed to think it was ok, because he washed it. The burgers were cooked so much they were burnt black on the outside and still raw on the inside and the steak pie was obviously cut into portions days before because it was so dry you couldn't eat it.

Although I mentioned all this to the miserable waitress, she made no comment, walked off with the plates and never came back.

When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told he wasn't there and she didn't know when he would be back.

They are more than happy to take your money here, but couldn't care less about their service or food.

I will deffinitely not be going back or reccommending it to anyone I know.
