The Toby Carvery, Lower Earley

You've got to love a Toby, if only for the excellent feed! Besides that, this one's got generally friendly staff, and decent drinks at not bad prices.

The Earley Retreat, Lower Earley

Quite run down looking inside, the toilets are a mess! The 2-for-1 offer that used to be this pub's saving grace has also been stopped, unfortunately. Having said that, the prices aren't too bad and there's a decent selection of drinks. 4 pool tables if that's what you're after, but otherwise a pretty standard Mitchells & Butlers pub.

Wheelwright Arms, St Nicholas Hurst

Quite cramped sometimes, especially Friday lunchtimes when the local office workers come for food. The food is nice, but quite expensive, same as the beverages.
