fair enough, i do understand where you are coming from in regards to being "4 or 5 deep" and not being able to know who is next, and also know how infuriating it can be when you have to stnad at the bar for ages and wait for a drink....but as you have said, you were taught to always serve customers first and deal with "less important things" like stock and refills later....we, on the other hand, on certain shifts are allocated to certain tasks...and if others doing different tasks are having difficulty then obviously we would help...evidently the barstaff in question was not paying attention at this moment, and was clearly not impressing customers...and for that i do apologise, but i do want to re-iterate that not all of the members of our team are like this, and we have had, in recent weeks and months, many praises for the level of service we provide ot our customers, and strongly urge you to revisit us and see how things have changed since your visit

just a question to both the anonymous person and tingles who both couldnt wait to slag the bar off; do either of u work or have previosuly worked in a bar as busy as that before?? i am one of the barstaff at rsvp in wimbledon, and im glad neither of u two will be visiting again. its the type of people like yourselves that give good places like rsvp a bad name...
on a friday and saturday night, we serve roughly 2500 drinks each night, most of them coming from single drink customers, or if not then 2 or 3 drink customers. now, bearing this in mind, do you honestly expect us to not only serve you drinks that you will be content with, but also keep a mental note of everyone that approaches the bar at every moment during the night?! half the time we serve the drinks with our backs to the bar, and if were not doing that, then were looking at what were doing with the drinks, not keeping our heads up.
if its not the "poor service" your receiving, then you would complain that the drinks werent up to scratch, or that we werent paying enough attention to you as we were making your drinks...
...have some consideration for the barstaff and the other customers that frequent these places and bars in general...you will have a better time and make other peoples night better at the same time
