It is a shame the last comment was made anonymously and that they could not spell correctly, some facts yes Graham Bennett is the Managers Brother (not landlord)& yes it is a Samuel Smiths House who do not allow music or tv's well documented in the media, which has nothing to do with the managers, the premises had major re-furbishment in January 2007 & re-opened in February 2007 along with a complete new bar that is now freeflow & the lager (not larger) happens to be one of the best pints in the village & still one of the cheapest @ �1-61 & finally no one said it would make PUB of the year as this is a Private Members Club who do not allow idiots & rowdy people as members, (of which the managers got rid of quite a few)? which is why people like the place for it's atmosphere.
