just too add on my recent comment... i would like to point out..
1 - it was a sunday dinner time 12:30
2 - there was 2/3 people in there
3 - the annoying hostess/landlady also called us "Mi Dahlins"

The Farmers Glory Inn, Haslingden

I've been enjoying coming to the farmers glory for many a year with my father in law and his mate, whom have tallied about 60 years between them coming to this watering hole. I've just come back from Afghanistan to look forward to a nice cold pint at the farmers, only to find its changed hands and the new policy by the landlady is that people are not allowed to go in their just for a beer and even though we had already been served we were asked if we wanted to carry on having a drink we must vacant the premises and drink outside. we where made to feel like we where making the place untidy, too tell you the truth the place is on it's last legs and by treating good customers like our selves like this just proves how desperate they are to get some new ideas. by kicking out the customers who just want a drink. but until you land on your faces and beg us to return we'll find another watering hole who wants our money.
