The George, Finchdean

Well, what can i say, what a foul woman who posted the review just before. I am a regular at the George and having nothing but praise for the new owners, they have totally turned the place around after the previous owner managed to ruin it almost beyond repair. Just to point out a few facts, the bear has gone down in price since the new owners have been in there, i have not had a bad pint from here for nearly a year and with the amount of people coming in these days i would be surprised if the beer sits there for 3 days let alone months, maybe you need to contact the brewery? In regards to the staff, all the waiting staff are the same as always, i don't understand bring back the "jolly staff", they are still there, the only changes are the drunk chef has left and a miserable little thing that worked in the kitchen was sacked. And in my own opinion, the staff did not used to be fun, under the old owners the landlady looked like a bulldog chewing a wasp and was a moron! The prices were higher and the beer was cr*p. So, in a quick summary, all of your "facts" are simply not true, I'm sure anyone with half a brain reading your review will ignore it due to the child like grammar abilities of the poster. (appalling spelling!). I refuse to take someones opinion into account when they can not spell the simplest of words. Thank god for the new owners, better chef and lovely staff, and may i say Anne (the new landlady) is an angel, specially when compared to the previous "thing".
